Essential Tips, Tricks, and Resources
Hello participants, Welcome to HackATL 2020! We're only a few hours away from the start of the weekend, but, before we prepare to welcome you all, we'd like to send some crucial reminders about this weekend:
1) Read the comprehensive guide! It's essential to understanding the agenda, the competition rubric, and the structure of HackATL this year. It's pinned to the main page of the hackathon, but you can also access it at https://tinyurl.com/ComprehensiveGuidetoHackATL.
2) Although Entrepreneurship chats are not mandatory, we strongly urge you to take advantage of the incredible opportunity to speak to HackATL's mentors, judges, speakers, and other personnel! These extraordinary individuals all are from our sponsoring firms, so take advantage of this potential recruiting opportunity! Feel free to join as many open spots as you'd like! You can register at https://tinyurl.com/entrechats-signup for any time slot(s) between 4-6PM EST. Please keep in mind that if you register for a time slot, you must attend that session.
3) After the Entrepreneurship chats, the next event is the logistics meeting. This event is MANDATORY for all participants, but will be recorded for students if their timezone makes attending the live meeting difficult. In this presentation, we will cover all of the most essential aspects of HackATL 2020, including the agenda, the judging rubric, instructions on our online platforms, and key deadlines, so you don't want to miss it!
Thank you again for attending HackATL 2020! The environment may look different this year, but we've made sure that there's still plenty of opportunity for community building and fun, as well as intense competition.
