CRUCIAL Originality Form, Submission, and Pitch Information
Hi everyone! As we begin to near the end of Day 2 of HackATL, we'd like to offer you some reminders about crucial information regarding pitches and submissions. If you'd like to be considered for the competition, please pay attention to the following information:
Originality Forms:
Originality Forms are REQUIRED in order to be able to submit a presentation on Devpost as well as sign up for a pitch time slot. Here is the link: http://tinyurl.com/HackATLoriginal. This is due by 8:00PM ET, but the sooner you submit, the sooner we can provide feedback and get back to you!
Submissions:
For submissions, you MUST submit a Powerpoint (.pptx) file. This should also be the exact same file that you use to present!!! Therefore, if you want to use a different program, such as google slides, you are welcome to use it, but you must download that file AS A POWERPOINT (.pptx) FILE. Again, you're free to use any presentation software, but if you submit anything that isn't a powerpoint (.pptx) file, we will be unable to accept it!! Keep in mind that this may change your formatting, so please make sure to check your presentation before you submit once you change the file type. Furthermore, make sure that you present that exact same file that you submitted for your pitch so you avoid disqualification. A step by step guide to submission is available on the logistics presentation, so please make sure you've familiarized yourself with it! As a reminder, submissions are due at 8AM ET tomorrow(Sunday)!
Pitches
If your originality form is approved, pitch signups will start tonight at 10PM ET and stay open until 2AM. Preliminary pitches take place from tomorrow(Sunday) at 10AM until 1PM ET. The presentation times are 4 minutes for pitch and 4 minutes for Q&A. The top 8 teams will then go on to the Final round pitches, which take place from 2PM - 4PM ET, and will have a modified time of 5 minutes to pitch and 7 minutes for Q&A. The final round will also be open for public viewing.
